Before the Arrival

The day we found out that we were expecting was on June 28, 2003. We wern't quite sure how to react because this was my first child and hearing that for the first time I think your heart forgets to beat for a few seconds. My brother Morgan was there when we first found out and he was quite happy to know that he was going to be an Uncle. Well that was the day that I took a pregnancy test but still wasn't sure but then on July 14, I ended up in the emergency room with complications(I had what they call a fiberiod) and we thought we were going to loose the baby and that is not an experience that I wish for anyone to have to go through. They took another preg test just to make sure that I was indeed pregnant, and yes obviously, I was!! They had to do an emergency ultrasound just to make sure that the baby was ok and he was (moving just like he should be) at this time I was only 2 months. I had to stay in the hospital for a week just so they could monitor the baby closely and to make sure that he was growing properly. But as the months passed on I knew that he was ok and that everything was going to be just fine!!

Darian right now shares a room with his dad and me, until we get a bigger place and then he has a room all his own. He has a big crib with lots of music toys that he loves to play with. He has a great big dresser that his nan and pop bought for him that is packed with clothes, and thats one thing this baby has no shortage of. His toy box used to be my toy box, I had it ever since my first christmas and that was 23 years ago, but we got it all fixed up and painted with his name and different characters on it and I think it looks beautiful. We have also started a collection of different cars, and trucks for him and so far he has quite a few but I like the hummer the best:)
